Have you heard the saying that ‘we can reach a level of success by being in the right place at the right time’ – well I think this is true to a certain point in your career. We all benefit from having a mentor or sponsor in our workplace where we are guided through the promotional pathways and then what happens when we reach a ceiling and cannot seem to go any further. Starting with a self audit which gets you thinking about all the aspects of yourself, its your brand, think of this as your own SWOT analysis, from key messages, digital profile, presentation and communication skills. Seeing how we show up in our professional lives from the outside, understanding how others see our skills, and assess what is missing and where might we have potential blind spots.
